Before I came to Stowe, I was searching different places in Austin for someone who could meet my needs. I was having a hard time finding a trainer who could motivate me and help me reach my goals. Also, I was faced with a lot of pressure given I was a member of the University of Texas Pom Squad, I needed to reach my goals fast and was scared I wouldn’t find someone who could help me do that.
I was feeling very discouraged before coming to Nedu and Stowe Training Systems. I had been struggling with my confidence on and off the team. I was at a point where I wasn’t comfortable with my body. Nedu not only gave me great workouts, but motivated me and helped me see that I could accomplish anything if I set my mind to it!
My main goal for joining Stowe Training Systems was to:
Achieve a physical physique that I would be confident about before Pom tryouts
In working with Nedu I was able to:
*Gain lots of lean muscle
*My energy increased
*I became more confident in myself, and in my abilities
Last year was a very emotional time for me. I had lost lots of confidence in myself due to being in a highly competitive and harsh environment. Nedu and Stowe Training Systems was truly a blessing and helped me get back on track. If I was ever feeling discouraged, I knew a workout with Nedu would be the perfect thing to help me feel like I could keep pushing! He helped me prepare for tryouts and had me feeling the most confident I had ever felt on that team. The end result of tryouts didn’t go as planned and I ended up not making it back on the team. But looking back on my journey last year, the moments I am truly proud of are the times where I pushed myself and never gave up, no matter what I was going through.
With Nedu’s help, I was able to give everything I could possibly give to the team, and learned a valuable lesson that you can choose not to be shaken by others around you, if you want to accomplish something, you can with the right support system and hard work. Thanks Nedu!
