Another client conundrum.
“My current program isn’t working; what should I do?”
But before I answer that; a quick reminder our workout in support of Austin Pet’s Alive is Saturday May 20th at 10AM. It’s free, you don’t need to be a member, and we don’t even need any of your contact info. We just need you to RSVP so we can have some sort of plan in place.
You can RSVP here –> http://bit.ly/2pV8Q6g
The first thing I asked was “How long have you been doing your current exercise program?”
She answered “almost 4 weeks…”
Ok…well how long was the program designed to last?
“6 months” she said.
The answer is simple to me.
Finish the program.
I think too often we quit WAY too early on things.
The person who designed this program didn’t say it would work in 4 weeks; he said it would take 24.
Finish it THEN we can evaluate things.
Now let’s suppose you have finished the program and it didn’t “work”.
Well now it comes down to execution.
It isn’t what you did; its how you did it that matters.
Practice doesn’t help anyone.
Perfect practice does.
That’s why there is an entire profession out there called coaching!
I guarantee you that if more folks completed their programs and sought out coaching to make sure they are not just completing the program; but perfectly completing it that 100% of these people would get the results they desired.
I’ll get off my soap box now ;/)
